Coaching is key to developing your game and enjoying the sport of golf. Here at Brampton Park Golf Club we have a range of experienced and well qualified PGA Professionals to support you in improving your technique or learning golf for the first time. All ages and abilities are welcome, from amateur to experienced golfers. Whether your area for development is grip, posture, swing or general confidence, we have coaches to help.

Junior Badger Academy

A perfect way to introduce young people to golf, with a qualified PGA Professional (fully DBS certified). The Junior Badgers Coaching Programme runs over 36 weeks during the school terms, including 60 sessions throughout the year. They  will hone your child’s golf abilities and enhance their overall athleticism and mental focus.

This fun and engaging programme enables Juniors to develop as well-rounded athletes with a strong foundation in golf-specific skills and physical literacy. It aims to build not just golfers, but confident, disciplined, and resilient young people. It will also offer regular opportunities to play on the course, reinforcing skills in real-world settings. We look forward to helping them grow into confident and skilled young people.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURES

1. Weekly Group Coaching Sessions (36 Sessions)

Saturdays: 2pm & 3pm (Ages 6-12), 4pm & 5pm (Ages 12+)

Sundays: 9am (Ages 6-12)  

Focus:

• Golf Skills: Grip, stance, swing fundamentals, short game, and putting.  
• Physical Literacy: Activities to improve agility, balance, coordination, and overall fitness, crucial for long-term athletic development.  
• Cognitive Engagement: Games and challenges that develop strategic thinking, problem-solving, and focus.

2. Course Experience Sessions (18 Sessions)  

Sundays, varying between 2pm – 5pm  

Focus:  

• Practical on-course experience, applying coaching session skills in real-world situations.  
• Learning course etiquette, management, and decision-making.  
• Exposure to different course conditions and scenarios.  
• There will be three course sessions per term.

3. Term Break Sessions (6 Sessions)

Scheduled during school breaks  

Focus:

• Fun and engaging activities that reinforce term-learned skills.  
• Skill challenges, mini-tournaments, team-based games, and social activities.  
• Physical challenges that emphasize overall fitness and movement skills.

COST STRUCTURE

• Pay-As-You-Go: £10 per session
• Direct Debit Option: £39 per month (for 12 months, includes term-time course sessions)
• Term Package: £80 per term (includes term-time course sessions)
• Badger Development Plan: £100 per Month (Add-On to Group Coaching)

Badger Development Plan includes all junior term-time sessions and two 45-minute one-on-one lessons per month. These individual sessions provide focused attention on personal technique, mental game development, an introduction to stats tracking, and guidance on tournament planning and preparation.

Advanced Badger Academy

Designed specifically for our more experienced junior golfers our advanced Badger Academy focuses on refining skills, enhancing on-course performance, and fostering a deeper understanding of the game. Each week, our sessions concentrate on different aspects of the game, with our time divided between play on the course, various challenges on the range, and utilizing our state-of-the-art studios. The aim is to provide a dynamic learning experience that’s both fun and challenging.

 Additionally we include competitions designed to get the juniors comfortable with keeping scorecards, lowering their handicaps, and building confidence in competitive settings.

COST

• Per Session: £15
• Full Term (7 Sessions): £99

Learn to Play Golf Courses

Sign up to a learn to play golf coaching course – 6 week course – £99 – clubs provided – courses are run during day, evenings and weekends.

The coaching course finishes with 2 hours on the course.
