Welcome from the Men’s Captain

I’m delighted to welcome you to Brampton Park Golf Club and on behalf of the Men’s Competitions, Handicaps and Fixtures Committee give you some insight into men’s competition golf.

The club was founded in 1991 and ever since has been regarded as a hotbed for competition golf for players of all ages and abilities – though there are still plenty of opportunities just to play golf socially with friends.

The Men’s Committee runs a full programme of competitions throughout the year. Appealing to Flexible, 5 and 7 Day male members alike is a roll-up individual competition held every Wednesday under the various guises of Winter Bash, Midweek Medal and in the summer months the Wed W Stableford. At weekends there is a full programme of competitions – a few are classed as Majors and many as Boarded where a win will see your name on an Honours Board in the clubhouse in perpetuity and qualification for the prestigious season-ending Brampton Park Masters. Some of these Honours’ Board competitions and quite a few more are Members’ Competitions open to both men, women and juniors. Please enter as many of them as you can.
